A Tote Bag

I used a pattern from ABC patchwork Lesson and chose fabrics 
in pink, red and white. The bag is about 7 inches height and it's perfect 
for a girl to handle. I spent last weekend to finish my little tote bag and it 
turned out great. I had problems with sewing stitches on the top of the bag 
because of the fabric's thickness.


Time for hand sewing!!

I'm so excited everytime I made something new. I sat on my chair in front of

my sewing machine all day while my computer was playing my most favorite song

 from time to time. I didn't notice that the time goes by.. for hours...

I really love that moment;)

Japanese Fabric

 

The new arrival fabrics from Ayumills just arrived this morning. This is one of
two shops I love the most when I online shopping. I always take a peek to see what's new from time to time. Soooo much happy!!!! There are plenty of cute fabric and I can guarantee for sure if you are the one who love the Japanese fabric.

 

I had bought two panels of these cotton prints for several months ago. They are in different colors, the fabric's on top has many colors but another one has only two colors; red and black. They are so much cute, aren't they?

I bought this red one from Blije Olifantje, another shop I love as well.
I have a few of Japanese fabric in my stash and I would upload next time.

This and That

 When I do shopping some fabric I don't have any project in my head.

I don't know how to match this to that and this part is the most difficult for me.

Hand Dyed Fabric

Since I had read this post, I've told myself to dye my own fabric 
if I had time. But I can't do this without more information, because I need more
colorful. Natural dyeing is probably good but using the chemical can help me 
for the first time. It's such a wonderful time to do something that we never 
did before. We hardly know about what's gonna happen, no matter what happens,
right or wrong, we would have been taught all the time.  


  


Then, I started dyeing yesterday afternoon, with choosing  Dylon Hot Dyeing

# 12 Rose of Paris and # 63 Fluorescent Yellow.
 

I first worried about dyeing because I never did, but it's not that 
difficult as much as I thought. Follow the instruction, that's all!! 

The pink one is a bit different from the colors chart.

 

And for me, after dyeing, made them dried and ironing.
They turned out great! I love them:)

I have a few of pink scraps,

so this fabric would work with these ones.

But it's hard to cut these cute fabrics, isn't it?

Spoonflower

 I ordered these cotton prints for 

my children a couple months ago. Boot and Umbrella 

prints's for a girl "Mine", and the Fox prints is for a boy "Most", 

which has been used for his blanket, but it hasn't done yet.

I'm waiting for batting! It's out of stock:(

Suzuko Koseki Fabric

 Since last couple months I hadn't posted anything but I've been still here. 

I just had a vacation myself, in the meantime I logged on everyday to read  

what's new on your blogs. Some of your work inspired me such as this one made 

by Rachel Hauser from Stitched in Color.

My son is not a little boy but this is so lovely, don't you think? 

I have changed pattern a little bit about alphabet that's a difficult part for me.

I'm in progress but can't share with you a photo now, a little bit longer please.

Let's take a look at these photos which I upload to day. 
These were imported fabric from Japan by designer named Suzuko Koseki.
Her design is much unique and colorful.
I first saw this brand from somewhere which I don't remember,
but must be posted on someone's blog. And I've tried to keep 
her fabric since then!

Cotton Prints

 I have been waiting for my new fabric since I had ordered from 

the Marmalade a few weeks ago, it might be somewhere!

After tracking, it's still on its way and that's a good new. 

This cotton prints fabric is a charm pack I bought from Etsy shop.

I call it A Red Tone

And this one, A Blue Tone

And this one, A Neutral

It might be a blanket, a table cloth or anything, 

I'll show you on next post:)

Sewing vs Collecting

 

 I'm new for sewing and don't know how to be good,

so collecting is win!?!?

I had seen some quilter used fabric as same as photo above,

which gave me an idea to keep it right away.

Lunch bag

What do you put in your kid's lunch bag,

Sandwishes, cookies, orange juice
or milk?

In Thailand, our children always spend their money 

to buy their lunch at school.

Most of them have some rice with curry or soup,

sometime they eat noodle and fast food is coming popular.

When my children were a child, I always made

some lunch for them until they knew what money is. 

From those days,

they're still on spending the money!!

I Love Pink

  

Do you like pink as much as I do?

I was born on Friday so it's definitely blue

but really fall in love with pink too; it's very soft, 

sweet and also is like a girl.

I'm looking for another cotton prints to combine

with this linen fabric for making this tutorial, lunch bag. 

Ayumi made her lunch bag very beautiful,

choosing fabric or her technique, step by step.

It's such an easy to follow!!

First Inspiration to Sew

I'm a search engine to find anything looks lovely and beautiful 

while I'm taking a break from knitting. 

I found many blogs which are very interesting and 
including people who wrote those blogs. Lots of fantastic 
imagination has shown off their beautiful projects
that inspired me.

One of those I'm going to make for my first sewing craft. 
When I had seen it, I thought it wasn't easy, but I'm in 
love with colors! I'll try my best.

1..2..3 Start

Before anything else I have to clean up my sewing machine, 

I had bought it for many years since my baby girl was a child and 
she's 23 years old by now. 

Wish me luck to no need to buy the new one.

I also have some pretty fabrics in different colors in my stash 
by ordering from online shop and some of them is free. 

That's great sometimes:)

I have to create my own project to avoid making 
any mistake, it would help if you're new for something. 

I would love to share with you my photos, 

but no sunshine today, waiting for another day, please.

I look forward to sharing with you my fabrics.

Oh..no not my project,
it's still lay on my table. Hmmm..
