Girl's Flutter Blouse

I have finished this little girl blouse, pink and yellow flower since yesterday evening. This pattern was not complicated, but I had some problems sometimes. Since I had not known where to start. When you do not like sewing, always feel frustrated, fix it!! I turned myself to knit or crochet instead. But two years ago I started to sew again. I had the opportunity to see beautiful fabrics. I really love fabric prints.

To start sewing with pincushion, potholder..brrr..simple projects. Sewing clothes was hard for me because I stopped sewing quite a long time, decades! But I'm glad that this blouse has been completed and was pleased with the results that came out.

Short-sleeved blouse with small scales. Adding some details to the front of the blouse. I hemed the edges of the collar and sleeves with beige colour.

I couldn't find a little girl, a five-year-age, to wear my blouse!!

  The back side is perfect for this summer. Especially in Thailand where the weather is very hot. I need some shorts to put together.

ฉันเริ่มงานนี้เมื่อวานหลังจากที่พยายามหาเศษผ้าที่ดูเข้ากันได้ เศษผ้าที่เหลือจากงานครั้งก่อนๆ งานเสร็จออกมาอย่างที่เห็นค่ะ แพทเทิร์นได้มาจากรูปภาพของ Ayumi จาก Pink Penquin ฉันยังไม่ได้ตัดสินใจว่าจะเอาไปทำอะไร แต่มีงาน paper piecing เหมือนอย่างนี้อีกหลายชิ้นเหมือนกัน น่าจะเอาไปต่อกันเป็นผืนหรือทำอะไรสักอย่าง

 

 

มาชื่นชมผลงานของเธอกันค่ะ งานน่ารักมากอย่างที่เห็น ฉันได้แรงบันดาลใจจากงานของเธอมากมายทีเดียว ไม่ว่าจะเป็นผ้าลวดลายต่างๆ ที่เต็มไปด้วยสีสรรและการออกแบบ รวมทั้งงานแต่ละชิ้นก็สร้างสรรค์เหลือเกิน 

การเลือกผ้าให้เหมาะกับงานเป็นเรื่องยากสำหรับฉัน อีกอย่างหนึ่งคือฉันไม่ได้มีผ้ามากนักและขาดความหลากหลายทั้งสีและลวดลายเห็นที่จะต้องสะสมผ้าไปก่อน ผ้าเหล่านี้ราคาแพงมากบางชิ้นหาซื้อยากเนื่องจากหมดไปแล้ว ถ้าเจอก็จะซื้อแต่ก็ไม่ได้ชิ้นใหญ่เพราะราคาแพงอย่างที่บอก แต่ฉันก็ซื้อนะคะเพราะความอยากได้ ตอนนี้ก็เลยซื้ออย่างเดียวเลยค่ะ...ฉันขอเก็บเอาไว้ก่อน

Today I intend to sew this little cute blouse. I never did before so it might take time for awhile but this pattern is so fabulous I think! Give me some time I'll show you:)

Good morning..สวัสดีค่ะ 

เริ่มทักทายกันด้วยคำว่าสวัสดีในภาษาไทยนะคะ มันมีความหมายเหมือนกับคำว่า Hello ในภาษาอังกฤษนั่นแหละค่ะ และต่อจากนี้ก็ตั้งใจจะคุยกันเป็นภาษาไทยนะคะ ปกติแล้วเป็นคนชอบเขียนนะคะ แต่พอต้องเขียนเป็นภาษาอังกฤษมันก็ยากเหมือนกัน พยายามฝึกฝนอยู่ค่ะ แต่นั่นแหละมันออกมาไม่ได้ดังใจนะซิคะ มีเรื่องมากมายที่อยากเล่าให้ฟังแต่มันก็ไม่ได้ดังใจซะนี่...โธ่! ภาษาอังกฤษ...

....ทำอะไรกันไปบ้างคะเมื่ออาทิตย์ที่ผ่านมา ส่วนตัวแล้วหงุดหงิดทีเดียวกับอากาศที่ร้อนเหลือเกิน ฉันต้องเปิดเครื่องปรับอากาศในตอนกลางวันทุกวันจนเครื่องจะระเบิดอยู่แล่วนี่ ความร้อนพุ่งไป 40 กว่าองศา โอ้ เมืองไทย คิดว่าคงเป็นกันทั่วโลก ร้อนจัด หนาวจัด ช่วยๆ กันนะคะ อีกไม่นานอากาศก็คงจะดีขึ้นค่ะ  (นี่ปาดเหงื่อตั้งแต่เช้าเลย)

อาทิตย์นี้ตั้งใจจะเย็บผ้าที่ค้างจากเมื่อสองอาทิตย์ก่อนให้เสร็จ จะเสร็จมั้ยเนี่ย...?

มีคิวจองตัวทำธุระมากมายตั้งแต่ต้นสัปดาห์ แล้วก็วางแผนไว้แทบจะท้ั้งสัปดาห์ด้วย 

ดูท่าทางจะไม่เสร็จแน่!

แต่ตั้งใจไว้แล้วเป็นกำลังใจช่วยเชียร์หน่อยแล้วกันนะคะ จะเอามาอวดทันทีที่เสร็จค่ะ

บ๊ายบายค่ะ มีความสุขกับต้นสัปดาห์กันทุกคนนะคะ ^^

Basket for Miine

    

I have collected some of these scraps for a year! Most of them were packed 

with my fabrics I had ordered. I love an extra lol.

  

I sewed this basket for my daughter to keep her little things. She plays hide and seek 

with her stuffs every morning..hahaha!

My new pincushion has already done.

Extremely green! I love it!!

This cotton prints was sent with my new fabric I ordered  from Ayumi  

last week and just arrived here today. I love her fabrics like everyone does. 

They're so pretty cute!!

And I love her work also. If you've ever read her blog you would understand 

what I'm talking about;) Those projects inspired me including this pincushion.

ABC Book

 

Welcome to my house!

 I had bought an ABC book for several months ago.  It's a very interesting book 

and so much inspired me. This book was out of print in Japanese!

 And the one I have was Chinese version;) 

Chinese or Japanese don't matter, I can't read anyway hahaha.

MOST

 

MOST is going on 16 year-old on this October 24th!
When my son was a little boy, he had addicted to two things 
which one was a towel now is still in his clothes drawer. I remember 
he couldn't ever sleep without his towel. It's so old and never
got washing! I used to have it washed that made him cried so much.

Another one was a baby nipple, the GREEN one! 
Once we went to Singapore, and I left it on a cab. A terrible night 
in Singapore, but it's fortunately not late that night. So we had to
go out to find the green baby nipple, and this is the last one
before he stopped addicting to both of them.

This is his new blanket made by me for his birthday.
It actually hasn't done yet. I haven't finished on the back side, 
until then, take a bit more time!

By the way,
the flood is coming!! I have had to pack everything on 
downstairs and move them to upstairs as many as I could,
but I'm ready, we are all ready!

Hand Dyed Fabric

Since I had read this post, I've told myself to dye my own fabric 
if I had time. But I can't do this without more information, because I need more
colorful. Natural dyeing is probably good but using the chemical can help me 
for the first time. It's such a wonderful time to do something that we never 
did before. We hardly know about what's gonna happen, no matter what happens,
right or wrong, we would have been taught all the time.  


  


Then, I started dyeing yesterday afternoon, with choosing  Dylon Hot Dyeing

# 12 Rose of Paris and # 63 Fluorescent Yellow.
 

I first worried about dyeing because I never did, but it's not that 
difficult as much as I thought. Follow the instruction, that's all!! 

The pink one is a bit different from the colors chart.

 

And for me, after dyeing, made them dried and ironing.
They turned out great! I love them:) 

 

Life Style White Japanese cotton prints on the left, 
my hand dyed Fluorescent Yellow cotton, 
and Suzuko Koseki scrap on the top

Rose of Paris cotton with Heather Ross fabrics

  

I have a few of pink scraps,

so this fabric would work with these ones.

But it's hard to cut these cute fabrics, isn't it?

Spoonflower

 I ordered these cotton prints for 

my children a couple months ago. Boot and Umbrella 

prints's for a girl "Mine", and the Fox prints is for a boy "Most", 

which has been used for his blanket, but it hasn't done yet.

I'm waiting for batting! It's out of stock:(

Today is my birthday, I heart you guys:)

A Birthday Gift

Do you want this little cute pouch?
It was made for a birthday gift, and would have been waiting 
for a few months away. I intend to make her a few things,
but what's else?

In the meantime,
I would love to tell you something and please, don't laugh at me,
because I had given myself a big LAUGH! I had kept sewing without 
any doubt. Suddenly when it was done, everything seemed to be clear at all. 
Zipper was up side down! But I love it so much some how. 
It looks great with unique style, 
it was made for me, yeah!!

Morning Placemat

  

This cotton prints fabric is absolutely perfect for my table, so I used

this one for a set of four-placemat. They looked good when they turned out, 
they seemed simple though !

 

 Red and green make me feel good in the morning.
